Bangkok Governor, Aswin Kwanmuang, has inspected the Bang Khun Thian Geriatric Hospital, which has been used as a field hospital to monitor asymptomatic COVID-19 patients, and observed the vaccination process at the hospital.

Aswin said that almost 500 people were waiting to be inoculated on the first day after the Songkran holidays, leading to a shortage of medical staff and necessary equipment. Therefore, they have coordinated with other hospitals to provide additional staff and equipment.

He also said that he has ordered the director of the hospital to add 500 hospital beds and to expand the area on the second floor, to prepare for more patients, as 400 beds are already occupied.

At least he went thru the typical COVID entry check procedure to check for high temperature as I see the green dot sticker on his left shoulder.   Heck, he probably even had someone sign-in for him....someone scan the check-in QR code.

His concerned look is probably him thinking he hopes he never has to stay at this hospital as Bumrumgrad has much better private rooms.
