For those who have received their visas from the Los Angeles consulate: which delivery service is used by the visa department.. USPS, Fed-x, Ups?

I ask because the address where I'm house sitting has no USPS service.

They are appear to accept prepaid envelopes for the USPS priority mail or express mail service.

I find it odd that USPS does not deliver to where you are living. Are you sure about that?

You could contact them about sending a prepaid slip for UPS, Fedex and etc with you passport and etc.

If the USPS does not deliver to a domestic address they will usually hand off to a commercial carrier, they use Fed-X at times to do the drop offs.

Thanks your suggestions.

What I hadn't elaborated on was that unlike Fed-x, UPS, the USPS mail service go's to a remote post office box for the homes owners. And that I had no access. However; since my original post, I learned that the home owners decided to return home early; resolving my this issue somewhat. i.e. the US mail service is now slower due to covid. I will take the suggestion to email the visa section about providing a prepaid legal envelope to an alternate delivery service of their choice; although, they take over a week to get a reply.

Just a follow up as a FYI:

Consulate Los Angeles:

My brother rang the the rural post office to inform them of passport arrival, and they responded in-kind when it arrived; however, not before the express service lost/forgot to scan the envelope.  So instead of overnight service, it arrived more than five days later, resulting in rescheduling the flight, car, local and ASQ hotel etc. Not to mention, re-uploading changes to COE and emailing consulate updated docs as well.

All-in-all the consulate did well and even documented the paid envelope with a photo on the day it was picked up. The post office insinuated blame on the consulate. Apparently, this is not the first time the consulate was blamed for this; hence the prudence, I suppose.

The consulate website, not surprisingly, isn't entirely organized and some of the requirements don't corroborate along with the other pages, links. This is probably the hardest part, as you will need to email them for clarify. A native "speaker" finally stepped-in to move my visa application along with good more efficiency.

Also, as of May 23rd, 2021, the airport authority dismissed the "required" tracking app as I passed through the queue with lightning speed.
