Earthquake crack advice
This is a dividing wall between the hallway and a bedroom, it’s a single brick thick. The crack goes through to the other side of the wall. A builder who’s had a look at it seems to think it’s not a big deal. Today I cut into the wall to take a look at the brick underneath and the brick is also cracked on the upper half of the total crack. Any ideas for a suitable repair? -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Thanks PiB, i thought i had heard something along those lines but couldn’t be sure. The reason i ask is: Yesterday i was coming back from a long trip, i knew i would have to charge before arriving home but was not needing to yet. The request for a bathroom break arose and as I had seen a sign for a PTT in 10km i thought to myself “ I’ll top up a bit if a charger is free, if not will calculate/book a charger ahead “. Pulled in and there was a charger free , it was 2.10 pm so I reckoned 20 minutes will be enough. Scanned the qr code, plugged in and it started the process but timed out and asked me to try again, i went through the same again and as it was trying to start charging I looked at the app and saw it had been booked, hence my question. I tried a total of 4 times but it timed out each time, another guy pulled up with the 2.30 pm booking and he shrugged his shoulders at my dilemma, another two EV’s pulled up so I left them to it !! So, why it wouldn’t work for me remains a mystery. Forgot to do the future booking but drove to the nearest Bangchak and charged at a 50kw PEA Volta , as a bonus they had a great pizzeria in the back Marry Pizzaria on the Nakhon Nayok to Rangsit road if anyone finds themselves down that way. -

I don't understand - this pension thing has existed for decades - surely he would have had te gumption to find this out before moving? The Second issue is that before the EU were pressurising the UK to increase levels to EU standards - France for instance has effectively double the UK pension and Germany 3 times the UK pension. If they hadn't voted leave all pensioners would be hugely better off. Iy's their own fault. UK has much lower benefits than most countries in EU - keeps the poor on their toes! -

If you were told that somewhere in Africa a certain country Afrostan was at war with a country African Republic and after 3 years Afrostan began to retreat and compromise, what would you think? You would say - this is without a doubt the result of a change in the strategic balance of power in favor of the African Republic! However, in the case of a proxy war against Russia, for some reason you do not think so and put all the blame on Trump. Or maybe you were deceived when they said that Russia's nuclear weapons are cartoons and can never be used? -

To me, this analogy was absurd, yet I understood how your bias could lead you to make it. I have showed you what that looks like from the opposite bias. I agree we should probably avoid them altogether.
