Ng Kognito
Has anyone found another way to "prove" you monthly income is enough (65,000 baht/month I think?) since my lazy US Embassy will no longer notarize income affidavits? It would seem if you could get a letter from your bank attesting to the fact that I have had well in excess of the required amount deposited from overseas Into my Bangkok Bank account every month since 2014, that would be enough. Apparently it is not as I had to put 400,000 (married to a Thai) in to my account for 4 months when I renewed my visa last time. I thought I had read here there were some work arounds, but maybe not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any useful information.

ubonjoe
For a extension of stay based upon marriage you need to prove 40k baht of income. It has to be proven by showing 12 months of transfers into a Thai bank from abroad. The 400k baht only has to be in a Thai bank for 2 months on the day you apply and dependent on the office where you apply when you return to get your extension stamp.
