5 more COVID deaths announced for Cambodia

The victims are a 58-year-old woman, 41-year-old man, 51-year-old man, 32-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman

Details of the deaths are as follows:

 

1. The Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital said that a 58-year-old Cambodian woman lives in Sangkat Dangkor, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh. Phnom Penh. She arrived at the hospital on April 22, 2021 at 22:03 with a cough, sore throat, fatigue and a history of diabetes. Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors took samples for analysis. As a result, the sample was positive for COVID-19. As the patient’s condition worsened and doctors were required to provide immediate medical assistance, including the use of a ventilator, they was still unable to save the patient. She died on April 24. 2021 at 23:45. The 58-year-old Cambodian woman died of acute respiratory distress and pneumonia from the COVID-19 virus in a diabetic patient.
