Anwee "Kay" Pornchaiphibun - the wife of Sombat Banchamek - the internationally famous boxer known as "Bua Khao" - went to the Central Juvenile and Family Court yesterday.

She wants her husband to formally acknowledge their five year old daughter as his, allow her to be the child's sole guardian and make him pay child support.

She told the press that she had met Bua Khao in 2013 and they lived together as husband and wife and had a daughter in December 2015 that he accepted as his.

His name was on the birth certificate and the child had adopted the surname Banchamek.

She said she had always been a faithful wife but he had distanced himself from her what with his boxing commitments both in Thailand and abroad.

She received no money in support of the child and was forced to get a job herself to take care of her.

She said that Bua Khao has a salary from his position as a soldier and from his boxing activities and can afford to look after her.

The court will decide what to do when they convene on August 9th at 9am, reported Daily News.

Haste makes waste

What a surprise!  guy was doing what millions before and after him will do! She does have a uphill battle since those making the decision on the case will mostly be a man who comes from the same school of thought as the fighter. Athough, the law is on her side I wish her all the luck in getting the deadbeat to pay up!????

She must have some power behind her otherwise she would never bring a big name like buakauw to court . When he was still called buakauw por pramuk his managment drained him of his money (and he made a lot) since a name change he had new management and got his live back . I am not saying he is a saint by no means but i think there is more behind this story then the woman tells .

He already posted on his Facebook that this was total BS.

My wife teaches some of his family (we're in the next village over from where he grew up) and he really takes care of them well, always comes to their graduations, puts on local fights, donates money to the school etc.

If the allegations are true it wouldn't be in line with how I've seen him act.

isnt child support supposed to be for the child, not to take care of the mother so she doent have to work because thats what it sounds like
