Utorrent & Those Annoying Download Icons

Featured Replies

OK, I give up!

Every time I load a torrent file into Utorrent it places a new shortcut icon on my desktop. I know you can stop it from doing this but can't remember how.

Someone remind me please, its really bugging me.

Thanks,

SL.

never had this happen ,

have you set up a dedicated downloads folder that everything goes into first ?

any way the answer to your ? is in the options section of utorrent .

Can you describe how you downlaod the .torrent file? Do you have .torrent files ;associated' with uTorrent? How do you "load" a torrent? (You could use "File", then "Load torrent" or just double-click on the ,torrent file.

I've never seen the result you are experiencing.
