90 Of 180 Days

Featured Replies

I read, that its not possible, to spend more than 90 of 180 days in Thailand as a tourist.

But often I m reading, that its possible to get a 3 entry tourist visa with 3 x 60 days.

If its realy not possible to stay longer, than 90 of 180.

How long do I have to wait, to come back to Thailand, if I stayed in Thailand for 80 days with simple entrystamps?

90 or 80 days? As would have have 10 days left of the previous 180 days.

Wunzen, the 90 day in 6 month rule only applies to "visa exempt entries"

"Foreigners who enter the Kingdom under the Tourist Visa Exemption category may re-enter and stay in Thailand for a cumulative duration of stay of not exceeding 90 days within any 6-month period from the date of first entry."

This ruling does not apply to non-immigrant visas and tourist visas. :o

It is confusing, but these are the facts kemosabe

Thanks a lot.

What are the requirements to obtain a tourist visa, and in wich cases tourist visasa are not granted?

Wunzen, every consulate appears to be different with regards to exact requirements.

If you're in Germany, I would look at the consulate's webpage first and see what I

could gather from that (as it's in the German language I hope you can read that).

Auf Wiedersehen there buddy, :o

It's not hard to get a tourist visa. Just go and talk with your local consulate, they're usually quite helpful, depending on where you are.
