May 20, 200719 yr I read, that its not possible, to spend more than 90 of 180 days in Thailand as a tourist. But often I m reading, that its possible to get a 3 entry tourist visa with 3 x 60 days. Edited May 20, 200719 yr by Wunzen
May 20, 200719 yr Author If its realy not possible to stay longer, than 90 of 180. How long do I have to wait, to come back to Thailand, if I stayed in Thailand for 80 days with simple entrystamps? 90 or 80 days? As would have have 10 days left of the previous 180 days.
May 20, 200719 yr Wunzen, the 90 day in 6 month rule only applies to "visa exempt entries" "Foreigners who enter the Kingdom under the Tourist Visa Exemption category may re-enter and stay in Thailand for a cumulative duration of stay of not exceeding 90 days within any 6-month period from the date of first entry." This ruling does not apply to non-immigrant visas and tourist visas. It is confusing, but these are the facts kemosabe Edited May 20, 200719 yr by cali4995
May 21, 200719 yr Author Thanks a lot. What are the requirements to obtain a tourist visa, and in wich cases tourist visasa are not granted? Gemany
May 22, 200719 yr Wunzen, every consulate appears to be different with regards to exact requirements. If you're in Germany, I would look at the consulate's webpage first and see what I could gather from that (as it's in the German language I hope you can read that). http://www.thaiembassy.de/consul/13_visa.htm Auf Wiedersehen there buddy,
May 22, 200719 yr It's not hard to get a tourist visa. Just go and talk with your local consulate, they're usually quite helpful, depending on where you are.
