BANGKOK (NNT) - The National Press Council of Thailand has issued guidelines for reporting news about COVID-19 vaccinations, following the publication of inaccurate reports by several media outlets.

 

According to the guidelines, the media should provide balanced information, without editorializing or adding opinion, and should pay very close attention to the accuracy of the information to be published.

 

Members of the media are expected to avoid sensationalism and choose wording which is concise and factual. Dates of incidents or official information on COVID-19 vaccinations should always be mentioned in reports, to prevent misunderstanding.

 

The guidelines aim to achieve a balance between speed and accuracy in reporting. Whenever incorrect information is detected, a correction must be published as soon as the error is identified and confirmed. Seeking advice from medical experts, before publishing a story on vaccination, is recommended and medical terms should be properly simplified and explained.

Ok give us an update than when which vaccine is available, where and how to register, How many side effects there have been already from which vaccine. It is impossible for the media to do, because the Government itself is withholding, changing and gives incorrect information. So as soon there is reliable information available the media can give correct reports 

Another words, report what we tell you and don't question it.

It would be far more sensible to apply standards to all the government and local authority spokespersons who continually issue inaccurate and conflicting information. It is well nigh impossible to get a clear understanding of anything pertaining to Covid because of this.

I wonder if the original wording was in Chinese script, Mandarin etc - Sounds very much like some sort of CCP dictate.

I order you to order them to do as I order you and not as I do. I can do anything with my puppets that I want and my lies are not lies but just things I say without moving my mouth. Can you say censorship lip service?

Yep, and don't tell who owns the vaccine!
