60 foreign nationals busted in Phnom Penh alcohol and drugs party

Special units of Phnom Penh Municipal Police last night broke up a drink and drugs fuelled party in Phnom Penh – and arrested more than 60 foreign nationals. Police were alerted to the illegal gathering at Street 95, corner of Street 288 in Sangkat Boeung Keng Kang II, Khan Boeung Keng Kang at around midnight.

 

There they found more than 60 male and female suspects, all Chinese and Vietnamese. Police discovered illegal alcohol drinking in direct defiance of the Royal Government’s ban on drinking, as well as narcotics and drugs paraphernalia. In open defiance of the Government’s edicts, the suspects also appeared not to be wearing masks.

I don't care about the drink and drugs. They're harming no one but themselves.

I do care that these idiots don't care about doing their bit in the pandemic. They're harming all of us.

Could they not just take their drugs and drink in private or at least in small groups?
