rickthailand
hi my retirement extension expires on the 23rd of juli, i have to go to holland for 1 month till around 17th juli, than i have to do quarantine(14 days) so i will be released around 30th of juli. is there a period after the 23th of juli that i can still extend my retirement visa? thnx richard
sqwakvfr
As far I know "no grace" period after an extension has expired. You will be in a "catch 22" during quarantine because it appears your extension will expire during this 15 day period.

steve187
can you not extend prior to leaving, if not enter on a fresh non immigrant O visa or tourist visa/ visa exempt and convert to non O, within Thailand, then yearly extension

yeahbutif
I would say as long as you are back in Thailand before the retirement extention runs out you ok .but you may have to pay overstay But that would depend on immigration man but no too painful
Robin
I/O will let you extend up to 1 month before it runs out. At my last visit to Immigration I was encouraged to come a month early. I prefer to get the extension done early so there is more time o sort out any problems that Immigration might bring up
treetops
An agent may be able to process it for you while you're in quarantine.
