Special field hospital for disabled persons to open on Tuesday

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand is opening a special field hospital for COVID-19 patients with disabilities; it has been constructed in Pathum Thani. The new facility is able to accommodate asymptomatic to mild symptom patients, starting from 1st June.

Environment Minister plants trees on National Tree Day

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - Along with Visakha Puja day, today is also Thailand’s National Tree Day. To celebrate the occasion, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment (MNRE) has held a tree planting ceremony promoting the national strategy to increase the country’s green areas over 20 years.

Phuket study finds full Sinovac vaccination cuts infection rate by 83.3%

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Phuket Public Health Office, Vachira Phuket Hospital and Prince of Songkla University have carried out a study on the efficacy of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccination in Phuket province, finding the treatment reduces infection by 83.3 percent.
