Phuket study finds full Sinovac vaccination cuts infection rate by 83.3%

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Phuket Public Health Office, Vachira Phuket Hospital and Prince of Songkla University have carried out a study on the efficacy of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccination in Phuket province, finding the treatment reduces infection by 83.3 percent.

PHUKET: A 43-year-old man from Phang Nga has died after suffering chest pains and a heart attack on Monday night after receiving his first Sinovac COVID-19 vaccination injection at Phuket airport on Sunday (May 23).

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand is modifying its coronavirus immunisation strategy to target worst-hit areas and sectors where clusters are most likely to emerge, officials said on Wednesday, as it deals with its most severe outbreak yet and a low vaccination rate.

Thai health minister insists mass vaccination proceed as scheduled on June 7

 

 

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed today (Wednesday) that mass COVID-19 inoculations, scheduled to begin on June 7th, remain on course, with Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute in Nonthaburi province designated as one of the main vaccination sites.
