Daily News reported that metropolitan and local police in Don Muang went to a luxury house in the Suphalai Gardenville estate in Soi Kosum Ruam Chai in Soi 7 off Chaeng Wattana Road.

There had been reports of illegal gambling, drug taking and Covid risk.

Armed with a search warrant issued yesterday the police discovered computers, about 100 sim cards, krathom leaves and ganja.

Six unemployed graduates were living there - 5 men and one woman.

The 23-25 year olds had hit on a scheme to join online gambling sites as new members in order to qualify for special gifts and promotions. The sim cards aided in this.

One of those arrested, called Natahawut, 24, said they were getting anywhere between 1000 and 10,000 baht a day with their scheme.

They rented the two story bungalow for 35,000 baht.

Daily News called them resourceful but they were all arrested on Class 5 drugs and gambling charges.

I just got the death sentence for trying to smuggle 10 tonnes of YaBa.....

Mom, look, The Daily News called me resourceful!!

That is absolutely the worst word I would have chosen.......it's a compliment.

drugs and gambling.........

Resourceful is when you use your bed sheet to save 100 legs from being amputated after being surrounded by the enemy and bombed for 400 days straight................ sorry, flashbacks........

I've never been a gambler, never will be. But its about time Thailand joined the real world. Legalise it, and tax it. If you want to use your spare cash on it then its your choice.

And there-in lies the problem. So many people that tend to gamble seem to be the ones with the least amount of ‘spare cash’. It’s a complex issue IMO

So much impartial internet reviews.

On the plus side they're NOT packaging and selling fake covd cures.
