Daily News reported that the times Bangkokians can register for Covid-19 jabs are being expanded as from today, Friday 28th May.

Registration using the Thai Ruamjai website and Pao Tang app will henceforth be allowed from 9 am to 10 pm every day.

You can register at participating convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Tops Daily and Mini Big C from 9 am to 6pm every day.

The move is so that large amounts of data can be processed.

Up to 6 pm yesterday 1,248,235 people registered with 798,551 on Pao Tang and the rest on the website and at stores.

Don't you need a Thai ID card to register on that site? I looked yesterday and it said you did (maybe a pink ID is acceptable?).

This is a fully automated system - is there a reason it doesn't operate 24 hours a day?

same with 7/11 and the other convenience stores.

allowing to run 24h would shorten waiting lines and potential server overload/crushing
