BMA operates Khok Nong Na Project in Prawet district

BANGKOK (NNT) - Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has implemented the Khok Nong Na Project in Prawet district as a comprehensive Agricultural Learning Center enabling urban people and the general public to build a good quality of life according to the sufficiency economy principles.

 

Mr. Khachit Chatchavanich, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the BMA, has inspected the progress of the Khok Nong Na Project at Ban Phichit Chai, Prawet district, Bangkok. Swamp digging started today in the total project area of 10 rai.

 

He commented that the Khok Nong Na Project at Ban Phichit Chai is able to support comprehensive farming and is a sufficiency economy learning center for Bangkok people. It also promotes various careers and is also a learning center for students and members of the public wishing to create a good quality of life for their people focusing on self-sufficiency in accordance with the principles of a sufficiency economy. It is expected to be completed by October.

 

He commended the choice of Ban Phichit Chai, Prawet district, as an area suitable for agriculture. The project is being implemented using the budget allocations of various agencies of the BMA.
