Longer than normal due to Covid issues reducing capacity at Laksi handling centre according to the PO website.  I had a package arrive a couple of days ago 19 days after posting.  Similar package, same service and same destination only took 8 days a couple of months back.

Your lucky with where you stay, mail posted in Thailand on the 10th doesn't arrive with me until the 7th or 8th of the following month.

I have at least 10 annual pensions letters outstanding most of which are P60's (official tax documents from UK), the others are notification of annual pension increases (private company pension before anybody says living in Thailand I'm not entitled to government pension increases).

God know what else has not been delivered.

I'm also still waiting for a duplicate set of photographs I sent to the wife, after a holiday here, about 20 years ago.

Shows you how long COVID delays have been around.

I've sent a few things over in the last year....Royal Mail tracked and they have always arrived 7-10 days.   However, my last parcel was sent on 19th May and seems to have disappeared since it left the UK.  I'm sure it will turn  but agree is got a lot slower.

Last year my annual pension statement arrived as usual after a month or so. The envelope had been opened and resealed, and there were two numbers jotted down on the back. I don't read Thai, but I do know the numbers - one was the amount I receive every month, one was the amount I receive per year.

And the MOD pension people won't use email because they say it is not secure!

and snail mail either gets opened or just doesn't arrive.

I've just had my pension suspended, June's payment, I think because a proof of life letter went missing, the pension co said the bank returned the payment as undeliverable, never happened before in 9 years.

MoD Pensions are playing silly games, e-mail can be as secure as you want but you need to spend money on it, no money no security.

I’ve  just received an A4 envelope full of documents from the UK by snail mail. It took 21 days

Local mail ain't that good either.  My certificate of residence took 2 weeks from Chiang Mai Immigration to my house in Chiang Mai.
