I would be very grateful for advice on the following:

 

My Thai daughter needs to travel to the UK with my British girlfriend next week. The two of them have been many times together over the years. I am also British but based in Thailand.

 

My daughter has a Thai and British passport.

 

Her Thai passport expires 18th December 2021. She would be leaving Thailand around 16th June (next week).

 

So technically as I see it she has 6 months and 2 days before her passport expired before she leaves.

 

Do you think that Thai Immigration at the airport will allow her to travel based on these dates?

Sorry, forgot to mention that they will be staying there for around 5 weeks and then doing the 14 day Thai quarantine on their return.

She probably has to do quarantine in the UK

I believe she will be fine, considering she has dual passports and meets the 6 months time frame, besides Thai's can enter Thailand on expired passports.

 

Before you travel to UK you must:

• take a COVID-19 test
• book and pay for day 2 and day 8 COVID-19 travel tests – to be taken after arrival in England
• complete a passenger locator form
• Also qurantine for 10 days (at home)
