6,938 public, private and civil organisations registered for China’s state-owned Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine for more than 3.18 million people on Monday, the first day of online registration.

Sinopharm will be Thailand’s first vaccine not to be provided by the Thai government for the masses and is being procured by Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), to help the government in its efforts to procure more vaccines for the country.

The first batch of one million doses will arrive in Thailand on Sunday (June 20th), with about 5-6 million more scheduled to arrive in the next few months. Inoculations will begin on June 25th, according to the CRA.

Begs the question if Chulabhorn Royal Academy can acquire it why not the government?

Three million people from nearly 7,000 organisations register for "Sinopharm" at Chulabhorn

Daily News reported on the first day of registration for Sinopharm Vaccine at Chulabhorn Royal Academy in northern Bangkok yesterday.

One of their "high level" sources said at 2.30 pm that 4,000 organisations had registered though they were not sure how many people this represented.

But later in the day at 6.30 pm the academy's page said that between 8 am and 4pm 6,938 organisations had registered and the number of people who had requested vaccinations in them totalled 3,182,006.

What do they mean by "organisations"? Certainly not mom and pop shops or SME's as the average is around 460 people per organisation.

Believe that would be hospitals/clinics/charity organizations.

So the registration process doesn't include patient numbers, just "organisation names"?

I sense another cock-up looming.

More people than vaccines.

With 460 people it sounds more like a Mom & Pop shopping mall.
