To all those budding electricians out there and if crossy is still about? Please join in

so I’ve seen a few threads on here discussing and comparing incoming electrical supplies in Thailand Tnc-s as used in the uk Men I believe is a similar set up in oz? But having only ever seen overhead supplies with just a live & neutral going into the property here in Thailand surely these are what we refer to in the uk as TT system with a earth stake connected to the consumer unit? Very interested to hear your thoughts.

It's TNC-S with MEN, the neutral (actually PEN) is grounded at every 3rd pole and at the board.

 

It then splits into N and E in your board (before any RCD/RCBO) and you have 3 wires going around the house. I'll have to do a better drawing when I get a chance.

There are still many homes that are TT here too, often with no actual earthing at all.
