Shocking video footage of a merciless attack at a Nonthaburi temple has been posted online.

It features a group of young people who surround an old man sitting on a bench at the Wat Khema Phirataram Ratchaworawihan temple in Nonthaburi.

The group appear to have an issue with the old man. Fast forward to about 1 minute 50 seconds and the man wais but is still viciously kicked in the head until he is unconscious and slumps to the bench.

Officials at the temple went to the police on Tuesday because of damage to CCTV and the matter was resolved with parents of those involved, reported Sanook

Now this beating has come to light on Jay Moi Vplus, Muang Nonthaburi police are trying to trace the old man and press charges against 5-6 young people involved in the savage attack.

Out of respect for the victim, I refuse to watch the video.

Young Thai men really are cowards... if they don't have a weapon or backup, they're nowhere to be seen.

Cowards....pure and simple....cowards....does anyone fight one on one anymore?

AFAIK, beating or harming a person in a sacret place bears the highest penalty.
No need to look for the old man to press charges.
Go look for the bastards who did the beating and give the the dead penalty.
Over and out.

Weird........what must go through their minds?......... could be young adolescent males from anywhere in the world.

Good Thai normal behaviour,   7 -to 1, and that one is a Old Man. One of the onlookers is a Golrl ./ Hope she feels happy. Just how low are Thai Buddhists sinking to . Typical Thai youth zero intelligence and even less Morals and ethics.

Finding the obese lad should be pretty simple. He'll grass his friends up for a bowl of Mama.

Can someone please explain why they did them for damage to the CCTV and not assault after viewing it to see who broke it ? Seems ridiculous not to hold these thugs in prison until they find the old man

Far too much hassle....job done.......back to robbing motorists.

Shaved head, two weeks as a monk, sorry Khab,  job done.

The kid who kicked him stole something from his hand, perhaps a ring, then handed it to the fat one. Fat boy will be singing like a canary as I write this.

That's the problem, Parents sticking up for their kids ,instead of taking

them to the Police, the parents must be very proud of what their offspring

have done, shame on them.

Appalling, no matter what the reason was. But one thing is priceless... at the end, when the mobster realises they were right in front of camera...

Yep, it’s all about saving face! I remember this from my teaching days. Student never does his homework, never pays attention, disrupts class all the time, gets scolded by teacher, goes home and bitches to his parents about it, parents come to school and be like “my son is the best behaved kid ever and it’s the teacher who lies”, the school backs the student and at the end of the school year when I failed him they had the nerve to ask me to change his grade so he can pass! I told them to eff off and quit!

So in true Thai Buddhist style "Officials at the temple went to the police on Tuesday because of damage to CCTV".   The fact that some old defenceless man was beaten was of no importance to them. Say it all about Thai Buddhists doesn't it ?

Nope, says it all about the particular individuals at that particular temple! Again, what’s with the blanket statements, mate?!

This could be us one day sitting on a park bench. Funny, when you say something to one of the gang the whole gang attack's. Cowards one and all!

Sounds like Darwin was right--law of the jungle.

Why do they need the old man if they know who the people are who done it !!
Utterly insane they need the old man to testify he was beaten when it’s clear as day and they know everyone in the clip and it is also clear as day !

On what ****ing planet can anyone defend this and let the little scum get off with that brutal assault ?? ????????????

Yaba pills is my guess, nothing else going through them.

These cowardly pieces of <deleted> should be jailed, but everyone knows that will never happen.  This kid that kicked the defenseless old man will realize once again he can get away with anything and sooner or later will end up stabbing or shooting someone

Didn't dare to watch it, let alone scrolling forward to the beating as suggested in the OP's text... Hopefully, those thugs will get what they deserve, respectively a good beating and some sweet sweet manhandling at the Bangkok Hilton. Bloody cowards!

I was living in a certain US city whilst in my thirties and I needed a hernia operation.

For a week or two afterward I needed a stick to walk, was getting around via public transit.  I cannot count the number of times people tried to start fights with me in that time, I guess the sight of someone at a disadvantage throws a switch in the minds of those with a low mentality.

Guys with a beef may settle it one-on-one in Western culture, not so here.  What about the other countries in the region?
