Bus services on all southern routes in Thailand suspended until July 25th

Wouldn't argue with that....but it does beg the question ....why is all travel to the south (or back) now considered unnecessary?

I presume the Southern railway route to Hat Yai Junction and Su-nga Kolok is still running and, no doubt, there will be private "taxi" and minibus operators touting for passengers!! One organizations loss is another's gain.
