I'm Martin but you can call me skips. Pleasure to be here with you all. Not too sure what I should say other then a big hello and I am looking forward to chatting with you all.

 

I live in Bangkok for my sins but I do love it here! It could be worse, I could be back in the UK working at a crisp factory lol lol lol.

That was my old life, now I work in a cheese factory (only kidding lol) I'm retired and Lovin it.

hi fondue zoo. I worked at Kenyon Produce Billingham, Stockton on tees for 17 years. best years of my life but so glad to finally be retired.

I had to google all of that, took me 20 minutes to realise you meant Stockton "on" Tees the river. I was searching for tees/crisps like an idiot. My invoice will be in the post.  ????

My family all worked at Golden Wonder in Corby (or Basic Slag steelworks).

We used to get boxes of free cheese and onion crisps when I were a lad.

thanks to all with your kind words. I think life is wonderful here, the weather is great, the food is cheap and the women are beautiful. What's to moan about really? not much me thinks.

I worked at North Tees C Power Station for a year … around 1970 I think.

 

Haverton  Hill if I remember correctly. Seem to recall that the air wasn’t exactly clean in those days.
