due to the greed of fishermen who come with their boats from other areas to catch crabs and other types of fish

Here we have it again .

The fault is in the system .  Capitalism leads to greed , greed leads to destruction , destruction makes everybody suffer .

Instead of our monetary system , there should be a system that favors ecological reconstruction by emitting credit ( eco ) tokens for people who help to restore damaged ecosystems . These credits can then be used for multiple purposes , similar to a replacement of money , but to get those credits , need to do something good for the planet first .

But that would require a fundamental change of values in the mind of people .

Will not happen , as destruction and dominance are a part of the ' natural ' behavior of the dominant species on this planet .

Need to realize that everything is connected , every action provokes a reaction .

There is always a price to pay ... the disastrous effects of continuing global warming are the payment for years of exploitation of natural resources ( and destruction of whole ecosystems ) without caring for anything but ' profit ' .

Fundamental change in the way how most people think and behave is required urgently . An Illusion .

the govt needs to come down hard on the fishers that are doing this but again we see the lack of concern, the greed for money at any cost has always been a problem here as the fishers have no regard to the furture of the industry, its all about how much profit they can make, the law does not come into it.

They did not have regards for nature in the west too but in the EU they put in quota's and it seemed to work. Did need a lot of policing though. But fish stock did rebound.
