A 36 year old man called Sethawut is in the custody of the Lat Krabang police after a road rage incident was filmed.

He was carrying a gun and assaulted a female Grab driver before driving off in a Mitsubishi without his shirt.

The woman had pulled it off as the incident escalated.

Daily News said that the woman had blood on her head from the assault. Another video showed her using her phone with a head wound and blood covering her shoulder and face.

Other people at the scene including a security guard had tried to intervene.

Sethawut has been charged with four offences after the Minburi court issued an arrest warrant.

The charges are assault, criminal damage and two weapons offences.

Looked like she was the crazy one to me, he seemed perfectly calm, despite her ripping his shirt off.

Did nobody else bother to watch the video?

These motorcycle delivery driver are a menace on the road....they are incentivised by their companies to drive a quickly as possible from call to call to maximise their income....so you have motorcycles driving like ambulances through the street. They need culling and reining in.

Yes. In the video, he has already pistol whipped the lady and she is (bravely) trying to stop him from getting away.

Did you ?? They say she got hit by a gun and i didn't see her getting hit in the video so i geuss that happenend before she pulled his shirt of and in the video she is pulling of his shirt the whole time. I think she is more dumb or has more balls then the most of us pulling of his shirt while being threatened and hit by gun . I think most of us would have split already .

It's the mindset of a Thai male who was allowed as a child to do whatever he wanted, with no discipline applied. I see it all the time. A sister-in-law is looking after her daughter's kid as she and her husband are serving in the army in the south, and I've watched as he runs riot with nothing done to reign him in. The husband of the sister-in-law made a remark he didn't like and the kid pretended to stab him and nothing was said. The kid is six. You just know that kid is going to be yet another undisciplined troublemaker in the years ahead, possibly looking at jail time. It's deep-rooted in the culture, and has consequences.

It seems the women in Thailand have bigger lets say hearts than the men

Well said.

Thai male. Nuff' said.

Don't hit the ladies, but come on we've all wanted to drag a Grab driver off his MC at some point.

Many Thai boys are raised like little princes and they learn from early on that they can do as they please and get away with everything. They are never taught that certain behavior has - or should have - consequences.

Yep. Not "ya ba" but "Ya baby" straight from mother's milk

Man she really wanted that T shirt.

The story is incomplete without information what the grab driver did. And it doesn't matter if that driver is male, female or anything in between.

Apparently there are some 5 million ya ba addicts in Thailand, so that’s certainly a possibility to reckon with. But ‘ya baby’, as you put it so aptly, seems more likely.

answer.........Thais

They had some more details in yesterday's Khaosod news.
The car driver, 36 year-old Setawud Phadeeun, confessed to the incident and said he will pay for all damages. As I understood it from the article, Setawud claimed it was sparked by the 49 year-old Grab driver getting in his way and cutting him up with her vehicle. He was also stressed about his electrical sales business and was just on the way to collect 30K Baht owed to him from a client.
At one point the Grab driver started rebuking him, causing him to lose it, get out the car and hit her on the head with his gun before fleeing the scene. He claimed it was an air gun (BB gun).
Setawud said he initially didn't realise it was a woman and thought it was a man.
She required 12 stitches for her head injury.
There's a small clip of him at the police station (shirt on this time), where for some reason he bought along his baby daughter.
