BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand’s National Communicable Disease Committee (NCDC) will ask the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) to consider reopening the country before the end of the year, as the spread of COVID-19 is showing signs of slowing down.

Thailand’s Exports Increase 20.27% in July from Year Earlier

DDC urges people with health issues to get COVID-19 jabs fast

BANGKOK (NNT) - While many people have been enthusiastic about getting their COVID-19 jabs, health authorities are now encouraging the elderly and people with underlying health conditions who may still be hesitant about getting a COVID-19 injection, to do so at a nearby healthcare facility as soon as possible, in order to help prevent severe illnesses and deaths in the community, caused by this disease.

Control of Thailand’s wet markets tightened to contain COVID-19 spread

The Health Department has decided to tighten up controls on wet markets across the country after finding 14,678 people in and around 132 markets in 23 provinces were infected with coronavirus between April 1st this year and August 10th.

Cabinet keeps VAT at 7% for two more years

Police summoning parents of protesters who violated the law

BANGKOK (NNT) - Following the protest led by the Thalugaz (protesters going through tear gas) group in Bangkok’s Din Daeng district yesterday (Aug 23), police have arrested three people and seized illegal items, including weapons, ping-pong bombs and narcotics, and have summoned the parents of students involved in the protest for neglecting their responsibilities by allowing their offspring to be involved in wrongdoing.

Argument over the construction of 7 reservoirs in Khao Yai National Park
