How To Reinitiate An Airplus Usb Modem Subscription That Has Expired.

Hello

Previously my company gave one of these devices to me and paid for 6 month subscription. The company told me I could keep it when I quit. I let it expire while out of Thailand for a year. Now I went back to Thailand and tried to reinitiate the device at Hutch office and was given a whole bunch of impossible hoops to jump through…..go back to former company and get them to submit all papers, or submit own work permit(don’t have, but have driving license), or get a Thai national to submit papers….

Is there a simpler way to do this without all the paperwork, like replacing the original SIM card with a new prepaid one or does prepaid even exist. Are there any solutions avaialable through Panthip, or should I just toss the device away…..
