Lumpini police forensic teams and Ruam Katanyu rescue foundation attended the tragic scene at a condominium in Soi Mahatlek Luang 3 in the Pathumwan area of downtown Bangkok after a Thai woman jumped with her child.

The woman, aged about 30-40 had cradled her 6-7 month only child and jumped from the ninth floor.

They were both dead from head and other injuries.

In a confusing article Naew Na reported that they lived together with an Australian husband on the 3rd floor and had gone up to the ninth floor to jump after a loud argument.

They then reported that they all lived on the ninth floor and she had gone to the balcony.

The Australian husband was the father of the child.

Lumpini police are investigating.

The soi, near the Regent Hotel, has some of the most sought after condominiums in Bangkok, notes ASEAN NOW.

More about this as we hear of it.
