Hi all swaadee kap,

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what the rules are on taking back fishing rods/gear. I live in the UK and want to take back some equipment but everything is to large for my suitcase (rods). Am i allowed to check in fishing equipment separately and if so can anybody tell me what i can store my rods in so they dont get damaged?  Will i have issues with customs in the uk if i want to bring back my gear to use in the uk? I will more than likely fly with KLM and i cant seem to find any info about checking in oversized stuff?

Any help appreciated.

Can't answer all the questions, but there is usually a counter for oversize, odd kit....usually musical instruments, golf bags and trollies.

I don't see why your kit shouldn't be accommodated.
