Motorcyclist falls down 6 metre hole in Bangkok

Bangkok's Huay Kwang police under the leadership of Lieutenant (female) Siniprapha Sithi along with Poh Teck Tung rescue foundation attended the scene of an accident at the end of Ratchada Phisek Soi 10 last night, reported Daily News.

 

A Honda motorcycle had hit a cone, plowed into a barrier and propelled its rider into a six meter deep hole at the site of nighttime pipe laying works.

 

Twenty three year old Wuthichai had to be winched out on a stretcher. He had a broken leg.

 

Before he was taken to Paolo Hospital he managed to say that it was raining and visibility was limited - and that he had had just a few alcoholic beverages. 

 

Police investigations continue.

Really, shouldn't that read 'A motorcyclist rode his motorbike into a cone and...'. 6 meters eh? Could have worse than a broken leg.

There was a viral video from China where a bloke at an intersection on a bike has several minor collisions, before driving into a huge hole. That was funny, but I think death had the last laugh there.
