MrJ2U
There vaccinating people 40 and above with pfeizer. If you're younger get a slip from a doctor/Clinic saying you have one of the medical problems to get vaccinated. Cost about 200-500 baht for the doctors note. EricTh
I thought that all the major cities would have the Pfizer jab for foreigners? Why just Chiang Mai? Yes, you can get the Pfizer jab in CM if you are under 60 but over 40, go to CM forum.

Read the letter below. Dear, sir/madam If you are a foreigner (at least 40 years old or older) and have never been vaccinated (COVID-19 vaccine), you can come to the vaccination site of the McCormick Hospital on 5st October at 9.00 am. Apologies for any inconvenience. Yours sincerely, Covid-19 Response Team Chiang Mai Public Health Office. There offering Moderns and sign ups are going on now. (Khon Kaen) Its about 1700 baht Although Moderna delivery has been delayed it may be your best bet on a tourist visa. It's Khon Kaen Bangkok Hospital and you have to pay. It's worth calling any "Bangkok" affiliated hospital. Alternatively you should call the one in Chiang Mai. Easy flight from Chiang Mai to KK and you can check out Issan a bit. Girls are beautiful and it's cheap. Avani a nice hotel but out of the way. Getting my second Pfeizer today here. I had to drive 5 hours from Sakon Nakhon. Good luck! Let us know how your search for a vaccine goes. Heres a link to a guy on a tourist visa who just got Sinopharm for free in Chiang Mai: https://youtu.be/_2d8LNWYuhk Edited October 2, 2021 by MrJ2U
brianthainess
I know an Australian who has been vaccinated on a tourist visa, our local hospital called him, but he registered with his embassy, on their site it says only register if you want to return to OZ, I guess you could always lie. The only free vaccine I can think of is the one in Chiang Mai. Make an appointment at McCormick Hospital before you come. internationalism
already too late for pfizer. That was august. They run out fast. Jab with anything possible. Pfizer might be coming at the end of year, but more likely the next year - limited and not necessarily for foreigners. Thai ministry was only only generous with pfizer for foreigners, because they were donated by the usa. Another 1mln of donated pfizer is still in the warehouse in the usa. Thai embassy didn't do required clearance for it. They just don't like american donations

Yesterday it was everyone over 30 years old. The Wall Chiang Mai provided the 13 digit ID number online. Eventbrite issued the tickets online. Promenada Mall did the vaccinations. Pfizer vaccine, free of charge. Wasn't that busy, hardly any waiting. I was in at 9:10am and out at 9:45am after my 30 minute observation wait. Got my free Pfizer jab at 17 of October, second dose scheduled to 7 of November, so they still have Pfizer in Bangkok. https://medparkhospital.com/en/page/covid19-vaccine-expats - registration was here (closed now). They had Pfizer/AZ for expats (no problem if you under 40), and Sinopharm for migrant workers. Edited October 21, 2021 by clearance
