I am impressed with your knowledge of the bible. Could you please say what spin would you put on this passage here: Numbers 31:15-18 Moses said to them, ‘Have you allowed all the women to live? These women here, on Balaam’s advice, made the Israelites act treacherously against the Lord in the affair of Peor, so that the plague came among the congregation of the Lord. Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known a man by sleeping with him. But all the young girls who have not known a man by sleeping with him, keep alive for yourselves. Is this really Moses advocating that all women who are not virgins be killed, all male children be killed, and all young girls who are virgins be kept as child slaves for the soldiers of Judea? I would really appreciate if you could clear this up. Because on the face of it it does seem to support the notion that even Moses was advocating that non-jews be kept as slaves, even young girls, if they were virgins.
