Thailand reports 9,869 new COVID-19 cases, 92 deaths

Health officials on Tuesday (Oct 5) reported 67 new COVID-19 cases, 6 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 46 cases were found in Pranburi, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 2 cases in Kuiburi, No- case found in Thap Sakae, 7 cases in Bang Saphan, No- case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and No-case in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

One more death was reported today, a 71 year old Thai national from Nongplub, Hua Hin who health officials said had an underlying health condition and who died despite receiving two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

Thailand on Wednesday (October 6) reported 9,866 new COVID-19 cases, 10,115 recoveries and 102 additional deaths over the past 24 hours.
