ray richards
I have been searching around for Covid 19 insurance whilst hopefully I will be in Thailand for 90 days. I've found the best here in the UK, £ 5 to 10 million medical cover for Covid or any health issues, accident , hospitalized etc etc for £260, I have added my present medical ailments so it is extra. Will this insurance with full Covid cover be accepted for my COE or do I have to take out the Thai Covid insurance???
internationalism
just $100k (so some 80k gbp) cover is good enough for covid. Health, travel policy not required. There is no COE anymore from 1st november, it will be replaced with thailandpass.go.th (page not working yet) Edited October 16, 2021 by internationalism
HappyExpat57
Check that the policy will cover asymptomatic Covid in the event of a positive test, be it false or actual. 1
Thai Visa Member 999999
I second the urgency of carefully inspecting your coverage. There have been a number of people who have tested +&asympto who have been carted off to the hospital only to find their bill not covered by insurance. Please make absolutely sure your coverage pays for asymptomatic hospital coverage .
