Hi, a friend will be coming to take his family (a couple & 1 child) to Krabi. Never been there so need advice on accommodation ($50 - $80 budget) preferably by the beach. Also need advice on airport transfers and maybe island trips.

I love Krabi Resort and it has a fab beach and swimming pool. Look it up for prices. It's in the right hand corner of Ao Nang beach and does the BEST breakfast buffet I've ever had!!!! Near everything and great for kids. Boats from the beach in front (left hand side facing the sea) take you to Railay and Ao Phra Nang - rated one of the most beautiful spots on earth!
