I may be a hysterical drama queen. I may even be having a bad hair day ( ). I may look a complete idiot to everyone on this forum. But quite honestly, I don't give a flying f*** about any of that. All of those things came about because I gave a sh!t about someone other than myself and I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of.

If more Thais could breach the language barrier,there would be more participation in the anti-farang discussion.As for committing suicide,one must have to be mentally impaired.I am not saying this to be negative.These people are under,emotional stress, physical pain,or some sort of chemical imbalance.Saying that you will off yourself,for no longer being healthy,and needing assistance from your loved ones,is ridiculous.Maybe to kill yourself, because you are disabled, and there is no one to care for you,would be more realistic.Try to remember that suicide is against God's law,and the consequences.

Owning Land: I believe that owning a home, is a basic human right.I believe that being able to live with your spouse ,and children is also a basic human right,and should not be based on having the correct amount money, in the bank, which is acceptable today,and subject to change tomorrow.Because if you don't,you will be quickly separated from your family,even though they are Thai and love you.I also believe that if we had a lot of money,we wouldn't be living here, and from what I see,neither would many of you.Most of the farang I have met in the years that I lived here,would be hard put,to survive financially in their own countries,much less buy up Thailand.

It is perfectly legal for a farang to OWN up to one rai of land, providing it is used solely for the purposes of building a home and providing he/she has invested a cool 40million baht in Government bonds.

And if it ever appears that more than a dozen farangs a year are able to use that rule, we're going to have to up that to 80-100 million.

Well....to stick with the orginal post....I think I often have said things that have been offensive to others. I apoligize for that.

Oh we are screwed for life boy. I was born & spent 80% of my life in Asia-Pacific , lived a bit in europe, but culture shock lo, too exotic .. But come out on the street here ouch...
