chipperman Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Sorry to harp on about this,I am 80 years old living in Thailand on retirement visa I returned to my country in late July mainly to get Covid 19 vaccine. Now I wish to return to my wife and home in Thailand. my question is what Covid insurance do I need I do not have Thai health insurance but it seems I will have to do so when I renew my retirement Visa come January 2022 I do have a reentry Visa got before I departed. any help appreciated .
internationalism Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) you can get covid cover till 99 yo, but not health (I think in thailand max is 75 - unless you do it abroad). You will need covid only until expiry of extension, so 2-3 months, from 1.5k to 2.5k per month (depending from what country you are entering). I think retirement would require health, so instead do non 0 based on marriage. It's easier. Instead of 800k you need only 400k for some 4 months Edited October 21, 2021 by internationalism
