Thailand’s used rubber glove scam: An interview with duped American CEO accused of kidnapping

CNN and some other international media recently reported on a scam with tens of millions of used dirty rubber gloves being exported to the United States from Thailand. The case is, however, not simple, as an American businessman who reportedly got deceived and lost 3 million US dollars was arrested by Thai police for allegedly abducting a Taiwanese involved in all this in March.

 

He later got released on bail and went back to the States in August, and has most recently talked to the media, exposing the scam and insisting on his innocence.

and able to leave the country, fly internationally, even with a private jet takes paperwork and a passport, which need to checked by Immigration Officials prior to take off.

I wonder will there be an investigation into complicity of the authorities allowing this to occur.

Immaterial to the "glove scandal" revelation, he was on bail for kidnapping.

Sounds like he was allowed to go out the back-door like many people.

Possibly to try to cover-up the illegal export of used gloves.

He didn't stay quiet in USA and blew the whistle..

Another forum member provided this link earlier on another thread about this topic.  A very informative 5 minutes and shows a distinct lack of innocence for all involved.
