my gf had a physical last week.

lots of issues, acute renal failure, heart issues, obesity, atherosclerosis, high blood sugar, early signs of diabetes, kidney stones and acute myocardial infarction.

the doctor told her she should not get covid vaccination, that it might shock her and die.

does not getting vaccinated sound correct?

Catching covid may well shock her and die...  If she really is in such a terrible state a regular household cold could ‘shock her’.....

Sorry to hear she is in such a state, seems serious.

Your girlfriend was having an acute myocardial infarction during a checkup?

An acute myocardial infarction is commonly called a heart attack.

She also had very serious kidney failure at the same time?

Is your girlfriend in ICU at the minute?

@Sheryl have you got any comment to add?

Definitely not possible. She might have heart issues, kidney problems, obesity, atherosclerosis, high blood sugar, diabetes, kidney stones etc but actual renal failure and an acute MI, she'd be in critical condition in a hospital.

And referring back to OP's question - people with these problems are at particularly high risk of death from COVID and should be vaccinated. If critically ill (in which case hospitalized in an ICU), immunization could be deferred until stable.

I suspect a great deal of mistatement in what GF told OP and would not make any assumptions as to what the doctor really said and indeed, if he mentioned vaccination at all.

Yes, Neighbor's brother had very high blood pressure and died after getting his first shot.

When we all went they took blood pressure first. Had to be below 180. They took BP at the top of 2 flights of stairs and people may not like needles! ????

After jab we all had to wait 20-30 mins and took BP again. If not low enough go to A&E lie on a bed and wait a bit longer.
