Using Wise from a Canadian Bank

Featured Replies

Hi, I am new to using Wise, and I have a couple of questions. I want to send money from my Canadian Bank account (BMO) to my TMB account and have it show up as a foreign exchange transfer and not a domestic transfer that would satisfied immigration on Retirement extension renewal. I would do the 65K Baht a month method. My question is what payment method do I use on the Wise site?

These are the options that I have,  I also have to tell it the reason for transfer, so I assume it's "Funds for Long Term stay in Thailand."
I should mention that the other day I tried a test run to see what happens and I used the Bill Payment method, and when my Thai Bank received it, it recorded it as
Date             Description                          Channel

For TMB it won't show as an International transfer, you need a BB account for that and have it tagged

Thanks, what do you mean by having it tagged?
