Tough protector of forests in Thailand’s Narathiwat transferred to Nakhon Sawan

Peerawat Waeda-oh, the chief of Namtok Seepo National Park in Thailand’s southern border province of Narathiwat, who has earned a reputation for being tough on illegal loggers, has been transferred to an inactive post in Nakhon Sawan.

Sherman produces error-free round to lead at the Phoenix Gold in Pattaya

GISTDA reports over 190,000 hectares of rice fields damaged by recent flooding

More than 190,000 hectares of paddy fields in Thailand’s central and north-eastern regions have been damaged by prolonged flooding, according to the Geo-informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) based on analysis of satellite images.

Thai government announces 4 additional public holidays in 2022 to potentially spur domestic tourism

The Thai Cabinet Committee has approved four additional public holidays in 2022, going up from 19 to 23 days in order to have consecutive holidays to boost domestic tourism, deputy government spokesperson Traisulee Traisornkul stated this afternoon, November 4th.
