MrBrad
Can anyone tell me if the San Kampaeng hot springs are open during these COVID times? I'd rather not go there and find them closed. Then, too, is there anyplace that has a hot tub? I know that some hotels and resorts have what they call a hot tub, but with ambient temperature water, which doesn't make it a hot tub. Thanks. jackdd
The location on Google maps has a phone number, so you might just try giving them a call. But there are also pictures which were uploaded in the last few days, so probably open. 1
EricTh
Are there any other places in Chiang Mai province that has hot springs other than Sankhamphaeng? There are also no public vans going there nowadays. I heard they were closed for several weeks due to a Covid outbreak there.

The place wasn't exactly abuzz with visitors on a Friday, but all areas had some activity. Oh, and nothing other than the usual entrance fee and a temperature check was required to get in. I think they dangled feet in waters... when I asked about the hot tubs the response was muddled but in some way not available, either fully booked or not open... call ahead. MrBrad
As stated earlier, no vaccination info needed. Just a temperature check plus the entrance fee.
