Interesting to see air traffic movement in and out of thailand in the coming weeks, know many who wanted to go but since restrictions extended and additional AQL risk have canceled or decided to wait till 2022, mismanagement continues

If a person arrives in Thailand being double-vaxxed, negative before flying, negative at arrival, what does it matter whether they are from this or that country? Assuming that the certification is trustworthy, which probably is the case in Germany.

Besides, there is free travel without passport stamps within EU, so difficult to tell if a person arriving from Germany actually spent the previous 2 weeks there or somewhere else.

Some just can't comprehend that a tourist, double vaccinated and double tested and no doubt very careful leading up to flight time, is possibly the least likely spreader at the moment they land anywhere.

UK tested 900, 000 + to find 40, 000 cases and dropping - I'm sure Germany has an equally robust testing regime

Thailand finds 8,000 cases from how many tests?  35,000 ?

Heavily scrutinised visitors are not the risk and hopefully numbers increase and regular Thais, friends and partners to many of us here no doubt, can get their lives back and feed and educate their kids and get back some hope.

Yep, I'm still going in December and was planning to spend a week in Pattaya with Mrs Chelseafan and family but she's just cancelled the three rooms and we'll spend the time in Korat instead.

The Thais are the true Zombies in the room now. They simply cannot wrap their minds around that concept.

'They quoted IT whizz and Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Thanee Saengrat as saying that 30,538 tourists had come to Thailand.

In another report after a later House of Representatives debate a Ministry of Health aide said that just 24,000 had entered the country. '

So 30538 came, but only 24000 were able to enter.

This gives the impression the rest were unsuccessful for various reasons, ended up in quarantine or sent home.

Woww. Daily new Covid record in Germany yesterday and they are still allowed in.

It doesn’t matter if Germany, or whatever country, has 90% infected. As long as one is tested and cleared before entry, what’s the big deal? Seriously, folks need to get over infection rates and move on with their lives. It is kiddy talk at this point in time.

On the discrepancy between arrival numbers; again, childspeak. Whatever the guessed amount, Guaranteed that the ACTUAL number of genuine tourists out of the total is LOWWW!
