I am concerned

Getting a little worried. I stay in Hang dong and had this weird feeling when I woke up today, in my room, even after going outside and it stuck around, couldn't figure out what it was, it was an uncomfortable feeling, like something was wrong with my body, like I was sick or something, i couldn't figure it out no matter what I did.

 

After pondering it for like an hour while it did not improve, something in my mind, perhaps some unconscious intuition, collective ancient race memory or perhaps a helpful spirit guide, finally allowed the answer to surface into my conscious awareness. Apparently what i was feeling was a thing called "cold". Just thinking of that word brings shivers to my soul. This is something I have not experienced since moving here years ago, something I thought I had left behind for good. Now it seems to be back, ready to torment me once again.

 

As you can imagine I am concerned. This is certainly not something that should be occurring here based on my experience so far. I hope its not a sign of bad things to come. If this does not come right by later today, should we start preparing for the worst. Any advice?

Agreed, it was 24c this morning in San Sai, I had to put my coat and long trousers on before I went out.

My subjective experience is that this November is warmer than usual, and that the sun-UV radiation is stronger than usual. My intense reaction to a short time in the sun seems unusual ... i feel "wired" for hours, and have trouble sleeping.

 

Given my erratic (radiation damaged) thyroid, it may be time to adjust my thyroxin dosage, or, perhaps, change the earth in the coffin I sleep in.

Yeah, you should really start to worry, because there is more bad things to come. This is just the beginning of the cold season. My advice to you is to bunker up. Here´s your shopping list.

Cold in Thailand? I call BS to that.....  My AC is on nearly year round and I'm always in shorts and t-shirts unless going to immigration for ext renewal.

 

I do miss snow skiing so post again when it snows....  ????
