Could never understand why anyone would write such garbage.

Trying to be clever r.?

//

I mean, for one, there is no such thing as tinfoil.

Aluminum foil, yes.

//

Are you suggesting that people don't conspire to do bad/illegal things?

Ever.?

Big Pharma has been fined $billions.

Sounds like a poor theory, r.

smh

I am clever, most conspiracy theorists are not.

Use a dictionary and you will find tinfoil.

I am suggesting that conspiracies should stay small to work. I am suggesting that if too many people are involved in a conspiracy it can't stay secret. I certainly don think that people don't conspire to do bad or illegal things.

Big pharma has been fined millions (great proves my point that things dont stay secret)

Its sad that I have to explain my point, but I have to take into account that not everyone has equal thinking skills.

The idea that 100 thousands of scientist employees goverment officials and so on all conspire together to make covid look bad so that big pharma can make money and it staying secret is crazy. Too many people involved for it not to leak.

If you want to keep a secret don't involve too many the more that are involved the more likely it is that it comes out. So to think that all those scientist and government people together conspire so big pharma can make money and there being no real evidence of this conspiracy is crazy. So that basically means that the mainstream scientists are right about covid and the vaccines and its not a big fraud because otherwise it would already have been proven to be a fraud.

How could you possibly know that?

Critical Race Theory is not taught in K-12.  CRT centers on the legal system and laws that involve systemic racism.  It is completely and totally not appropriate for students in anywhere lower than University level.  Even then CRT is only taught in Law School.

It's not taught in schools.  It's not appropriate for K-12, it would be akin to teaching astrophysics to Kindergarten schools.

There is a lot of noise about something that isn't happening.  There is also a lot of speculation about what it means.

This topic is about a broader subject and not just one thing.

Yes, I know it's a very general philosophical point, with understandable attacks on the most extreme forms of covid-19 denial-ism etc.

Nevertheless, I find it important to push back on the notion that critics of this policy are somehow barking up the wrong tree because of semantics-based denial when things began to heat up. CRT-inspired racism / racial essentialism...call it what you like. But it ain't the collective imagination of the entire Right-of-Center America  (+ and then some!).

That first video a gives a very informative summary of defenders of how the "No CRT here" camp neglects the practical delivery of teaching vs. whats written down on the official curriculum. The video below is a car-crash of an interview given by an MSNBC host "interviewing" (I use that phrase loosely) someone on the other side.

There is also well-documented examples in the parallel private school system of unabashed race essentialism and the schools are openly proud. There's also endless clips of educational professionals proudly saying the most insane things during Zoom class, as well as the standard none-action by schools when it is reported.

None of it was healthy, and it got out of control after the George Flloyd. It's actually happening, and it cuts at the very core of what the OP talks about: the United States of America being ripped apart at its seams. And no it's not a conspiracy.

I was educated fairly well to be a critical thinker. To always question authority. Looking at history, that makes very good sense

Nice meme, but IMO the more pernicious threat is echo-chambers and over-confidence by whichever camp feels they have the upper hand. Critical faculties switch off immediately, and while they are busy fighting off the half-truths, distortions and outright lies of others, they unsurprisingly fail in their own reasoning and fact-checking.

An illustrative case-in-point is the recent thread on under-5s getting Covid in South Africa. The article that the thread is based on is just so so bad, but it just flew by right under the radar because many of the frequent posters there just don't give AF when it comes to bias-confirming data / news stories.

Already tried to communicate it to the OP, but what are the chances of getting a reply before the damage is already done on this forum....

That sounds like a rip-roaring good conspiracy theory you've constructed.
This should be entertaining.  ????

Make sure it is a conspiracy theory first, I suggest you do your own research.

IMHO , this is all caused by left-right politicians and their followers .As long as it stays in the center all is fine , since then everybody agrees on points . As soon as 1 steps out of line and he succeeds , then the other side will do the same . In a point where nobody agrees on each other and everything said on 1 side is always wrong and the other side is always right no matter what he or his followers say .

Next is the stupidity of things like Facialbook , Tiktak , Instastupid ... everybody can say there anything they want without having to follow any rules . Since it all politics , they 1 way or another divide themselves in 1 kind of group , attracting more of the same , believing anything what they say .

This is all seen everywhere in the world , every country ,and the problem is that it will create havoc in the longer term , unless you go back to the middle . By havoc i mean , war , can be internal or external .

The "do your own research" does mean , i follow people on this and that Facialbook or similar , and since they all have the same opinion they attract more of the same voice , and nothing from any other voice .

I'm far left (traditional Marxist) and I certainly see him as a force for evil.

His wealth should have been redistributed to the people a long time ago.

People who display such greed are by definition evil (according to the teachings of both Socialism and Christianity).

Your a marxist, exploiting the fact that woman are cheap here. Wonder how that works. ????

Karl Marx married a Baroness, lived off her money, and had sex with her female servants.

That's undisputed historical fact.

The idea of 'exploitation' arises when not paying people fair compensation for their work.

I've always paid the market value for the product, how about you?
