No such thing as a covid visa extension. Secondly the OP has nothing to do with "covid extensions". He was asking about #of days for visa exempt entry. That is 30 days. That was increased to 45 days (temporary measure) some time ago and subsequently back to the normal 30 days. Well now, here are photos of different sources calling it a "COVID" visa extension. Though you are correct all types of visas granted under a certain definition are simply visa extension but I alone must be incorrect, or the other reputable sources used here are incorrect. True even the immigration offices will refer to "visa extension". That's also incorrect, along with the term "retirement visa".
