Popular Post snoop1130
BANGKOK (NNT) - The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) said it had already closed more than 4,500 graft-related cases and launched a new scheme called “Corruption Risk Mapping” to prevent wrongful practices in all sectors of society. In celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9, the anti-graft body held an online event to declare “zero tolerance” against corruption. At the declaration ceremony, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-O-Cha said his administration is actively working with every stakeholder to improve related legislation so that public offices, state-run enterprises, and private firms can keep corruption at bay. Laws and regulations have been modernized to better deal with corrupt practices which come in many forms. The premier also stressed the importance of raising public awareness of the risks of corruption, saying no one should have to tolerate this crime against integrity. Meanwhile, NACC President Pol Gen Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit, said his office managed to close more than 4,500 cases of corruption this year, and launched the “Corruption Risk Mapping” campaign to stamp out graft from society. More specifically, this campaign ensures transparency in the use of resources, state procurement projects, budget spending, and the distribution of money allotted for post-Covid recovery. -- © Copyright NNT 2021-12-09 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates
Popular Post spidermike007
How many current high ranking members of the police, private industry, customs, immigration, the army and the administration have been locked up under this program? The Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand (ACT) and the NACC are two of the most feeble and ineffective of all the tools Prayuth has used to deceive the people into believing that he is fighting corruption. Who was the last high level authority they arrested, charged, tried convicted, and sent to prison? Nobody. Zero. Nunca. Nada. Why? Because Prayuth has had a mandate from the beginning to do the very opposite. To protect the elite, the super wealthy who are guilty, those that are connected, and those who are in power. Just think Dark Tao. Just think Red Bull. The list goes on, and on, and on. Only the most naive amongst us believe he or ACT secretary-general Mana Nimitmongkol are sincere about this. Will I get a prison term for stating this? Edited December 9, 2021 by spidermike007 4

mtls2005
How's this for "mapping": Wherever there is a transaction there's corruption.
seajae
so they closed 4500 cases, how many people were actually charged though, this is the problem, nothing happens to the ones doing it as long as they are either govt people, rich or have friends in high places. Graft & corruption are rife in Thailand and they put those involved in it as the ones investigating it, its a joke at best but what we have come to expect here
mikebell
4500/50 weeks = 90 each working week = 18 a day in a 5 day week. The sums make no allowances for the many holidays/long weekends the (Un)Civil Service are prone to. The figures must make these employees the hardest workers in the World and they should be in line for a bonus or have they already received one? billd766
I am sure that the same person made the same statement back in May 2014. Same old same old, month after month, year after year with the same result. More hot air blah blah and no action.
