Searching For: Mobile-internet-flat, House For Rent, Car, Driver-licence .....

Hello community,

I am new in this forum and will move from Germany to Thailand in 3 weeks. I got a "Non-Immigrant-Visa O-Type" for 1 year and rent for the first 3 month an hotel-room near Big-C already.

From july to september I have to clear these things in following order :

1. registration at the Phuket-registration-office

2. get Thai-Driver-Licence (have international & European already)

3. get internet-flat for mobile (TruMove GRPS prefered, or buy EDGE-Mobile with contract)

4. rent very reasonable house in quiet area (may be Kathu area, about THB 6.000,- incl. aircon)

5. buy cheap car 2 doors, 4 seats(Suzuki SJ413, Toyota Hilux D 2.5)

6. make contract for international health-insurance (if possible full coverage for 1-3 month per year in Germany)

Can somebody help me with informations about the subjects above ? May be your neighbour have/know a house for rent, a car for sell or you know a good insurance (Axa, Bupa, ING....?).

I would be very glad to get some informations from experienced expats may be living on phuket, no have financial interests in this - may be I´ll can help you in the future.
