Mitkof Island
https://www.tatnews.org/2022/01/thailand-reopening-exemption-from-quarantine-test-go/ One report says January 15th cut off date and required to quarantine for a week. Which one is correct? More meetings on Sunday now? Edited January 7, 2022 by Mitkof Island
Popular Post Karlo
OMG I cannot believe reading this….. a number of members have posted updates from several Royal Thai Embassy sites that Test&Go entry for those visitors with approved QR codes is still possible. Why so many mixed messages. Is it abysmal government communication, combined with inept reporting that’s the heart of the problem.

And certain websites and insurance agents get angry when I ask too many questions? Is it one night that I already paid for? Or am I now required to pay for a week with no refund or credit for the hotel if my plane gets canceled or I catch Covid before I fly out on the 16th? They want me to pay an extra $1,000 with zero guarantees? And they get angry when I ask why and tell me I am being negative. They can shove it!
internationalism
Stop panicking. TP is valid indefinitely. You can extend it by sending email to MFA. Most probably unlimited times, if you give good reason, attach documents. you dont need additional booking or any other action. testing positive in thailand means up to 2 weeks hospitalisation or asymptomatic in hospitel. you have already know that because its a rule in thailand for ever. but you get recovery certificate which allows travel when positive. Fairynuff
A Thai friend arrived this morning, I believe using her Swiss passport and will be out of her Test n Go hotel tomorrow with only the 5-7 PCR test to do. Exactly the same as I did on the 30th December

You have a bunch of soldiers running the country who have no more intelligence than the average Somchai or Lek. So no surprises there.
Karlo
It’s a relief to see as reported by Richard Burrows, there are no restrictions for approved Thai Pass with QR code. My only concern now is the 48 hr preflight PCR required when transiting at Dubai, so I am doing daily lateral flow tests and being extra careful when out and about.
