webfact Posted January 11, 2022 Share Posted January 11, 2022 Picture: Manager Manager reported that there have been three explosions in the last two days in the Myanmar border town of Tachilek just across from the Thai checkpoint of Mae Sai in the far north. Latest to be hit yesterday was the immigration office where 8 windows were blown out and three people were injured. These were two women and a three year old child who were all taken to hospital. A homemade explosive device is suspected. Similar explosions happened on Sunday at the administrative offices at 7 am when a motorcycle was damaged and later at 10 pm at the area hospital.
